Muncie, Indiana, March 5, 2010- The Hoosier Chapter’s Coca-Cola Collector’s Soft Drink Swap Meet was held at the Horizon Convention Center for the first time in 2009 and the event will be returning to the convention center in Muncie again this year. Last year’s event was attended by nearly 400 people and brought in $33,000 of economic impact to Muncie and Delaware County.

 The Coca-Cola Soft Drink Swap Meet is scheduled for Saturday, August 28, 2010. Collectors of Coca-Cola memorabilia and those who are interested in the history of Coca-Cola participate and sell Coca-Cola and other soft drink memorabilia.

 “For many of us, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia is a reconnection with childhood memories and old friends, and a great way to make new friends.  When the Hoosier Chapter of the Coca-Cola Collector's Club moved our annual swap meet to the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie last year, we found a new home, complete with new friends.  The professional staff and great facilities made the experience enjoyable for both vendors and shoppers.” said Alice Clark, President of the Hoosier Chapter of the Coca-Cola Collectors Club.

 The Horizon Convention Center is host to local, regional, national, and international guests and events which have a significant economic impact on Muncie and Delaware County.
