Muncie, Indiana, March 30, 2011- This weekend, the Horizon Convention Center will host over 130 participants from four states representing the Heartland District of the Unitarian Universalists Association.

The Heartland District of the UUA will begin its assembly on Friday, April 1, 2011 through Saturday, April 2, 2011. The Heartland District represents congregations from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio and participants will travel from all four states to Muncie for the weekend. This is the second time the conference has been held in Muncie at the Horizon Convention Center.

“The highest compliment a client can give is to honor us with repeat business. We are flattered to have the opportunity to host the Heartland District of the Unitarian Universalists again,” said Joann McKinney, President/CEO of the Horizon Convention Center. 

 The Horizon Convention Center is host to local, regional, national, and international guests and events which have a significant economic impact on Muncie and Delaware County.
