Pam, Muncie Central Class of 1960 - Congratulations to Melissa Riggle and the fantastic staff at the Horizon Convention Center for helping the Class of 1960 celebrate its 50th reunion July 24. There was not one person who did not help in some way, graciously, no matter what the situation. Melissa was "Johnny on the Spot" with every question I might have had, not matter how large or small. It didn't matter if we had just hung up from one question. Every call I made was returned without fail, if she wasn't available at the time. The entire staff in the building, no matter where we saw them, was friendly and eager to assist. The food was good and the bartenders were friendly and kept up well with the crowd. You know the saying "You get what you pay for"? Well we did, and it was top notch. Thank you Melissa, Reese, Shannon, Ken and others who were involved.
Muncie Central Class of 1960, July 2010 -Thank you for making our 50th class reunion such a success. Please convey to everyone that helped our sincere appreciation. It made our job so much easier!
50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner, June 2009- Our 50th Anniversary Celebration was wonderful! The White River Room looked so pretty after everything was set up. The food presentation was exceptional and as tasty as it looked. We had many compliments on everything. We were proud to have our family and friends there.
Whitinger Scholars Spring Dinner, March 2009 - I wanted to drop you a note and let you know how much the students, faculty and staff enjoyed the Whitinger Spring Dinner at the Convention Center. I heard nothing but good things about the dinner, staff, arrangements, food, etc. The dean and associate dean were very impressed with the way every detail was taken care of. They also mentioned that the food was excellent and the serving staff was very professional and efficient. Thank you for all of your efforts to make this a successful dinner!
Ball State University Office of Student Life, September 2008 – Thank you so much for all your help with Ball State Sorority Recruitment! Without all of your hard work and willingness to assist on the day of the event, recruitment would not have been possible. We look forward to using the Horizon Center again in the future.
ADDY Award Banquet, February 2008 – As I entered the Interurban room before the arrival of our members and guests, I had a few minutes to look around and truly appreciate your facility. The staff of the Horizon Convention Center goes that extra five miles to ensure the event goes well. The waiter staff was efficient and friendly. The facilities staff made sure we had everything we needed and helped us transport items to the facilities. The chef pulled out all stops! The dessert selection was outstanding. The AV equipment was perfect and worked well. There is nothing I would change about the room, service and food provided for the ADDY Banquet. Each staff member who played a part in the event is to be commended for their outstanding service. Thanks for making us look so good to those who attended the ADDY Banquet. You're a delight to work with.
